Zur Eröffnung der Ausstellung SCRIBBLES ON TENSION am Donnerstag den 13.10.2022 um 18 Uhr laden wir herzlich in unseren Ausstellungsraum Stephanie Kelly am Neustädter Markt 9 in Dresden ein.
DE_Unser Unterbewusstsein ist zum einen ein Speicherort von allem, was uns umgibt und zum anderen eine Quelle unserer Intuition. Entsteht eine ungetrübte Verbindung zu unserem Inneren, wenn sie Handlungsprotagonistin ist? Verschränkungen innerer und äußerer Welten sowie Realität und Vision in stetiger ästhetischer Ergänzung rufen ein Kontinuum der Bild- und Formerzeugung hervor. Durch permanente Inbezugnahme ergibt sich ein Spannungsfeld zwischen Intuition und Konstruktion, das zu Neuerschließungen im Hier und Jetzt führt. SCRIBBLES ON TENSIONinkludiert u.a. Fragen der Ausdehnung und Begrenzung sowie die Bedingungen von Körpern in gesellschaftlicher Hinsicht. Die Arbeiten bilden nonlineare Verknüpfungsketten und öffnen eben diese für die Rezipient*innen. Hierbei entwickelt sich ein nach visueller und kognitiver Erweiterung strebender Dialog.
Die Ausstellung wird gefördert durch die Kulturstiftung des Freistaates Sachsen und das Amt für Kultur und Denkmalschutz der Landeshauptstadt Dresden.

EN_Our subconscious is on the one hand a storage place of everything that surrounds us and on the other hand a source of our intuition. Does an unclouded connection to our inner self emerge when it is the protagonist of action? The interweaving of inner and outer worlds, as well as reality and vision in a constant aesthetic complementation, creates a continuum of image and form production. Permanent references are creating a field of tension between intuition and construction, which leads to new developments in the present. SCRIBBLES ON TENSION includes questions of expansion and limitation, as well as the conditions of bodies in social terms. The works are forming non-linear chains of connections and opening these up to the recipients. Through that a dialogue develops that strives for visual and cognitive expansion.
